As advertised

I’ve trained with both CAT and RATs tourniquets (thankfully, I’ve never had to use one for real). The RATs works just fine, and I find it easier to apply - the Velcro on a CAT can get in my way. I think the RATs has an advantage for one-handed application and on smaller limbs, as well, and is more compact for carry. My recommendation - get both.

Teaching my son

Recently got the RATS tourniquets. Just taught my 5 yo son how to use it, he’s been asking me to teach him for the last 3 days ever since it arrived in the mail. Practicing on his bear. So simple, easy to learn and looks to be effective. We will keep in glove compartment of each car. I like to be prepared. Good to have on hand in case needed to save a life.

Poor quality, unreliable customer service

The very first time we tested a batch, the metal broke on one of them.
Upon contacting to report this, we were assured we would receive a replacement. We never did receive one.
